Final Thoughts - Kyouran Kazoku Nikki

A family composed of strange individuals suspected to be the reincarnation of Enka, a monster that once tried to destroy the world.

The father, Ouka, the most normal in the family, he works for the organization that put this family together, reluctant in the beginning, but at the end is a caring father.

Kyouka, the Mother, an ex-god from an underworld, a 20 years old with nekomimi and a twisted personality, saying everything she thinks and with no restrain, she is the main reason why everything turns out bad.

Ginka, the older son, outside he seems normal, but he have a gender identity disorder, always changing from manly to gay, he works at a local okama bar.

Yuka, originally from Himemiya family where she was the Solitary doll and abused by her family, she have a nice and calm personality despite her past.

Teika, now the weirdest part starts, he is a lion, former Bister King, capable of rule all animals, he is wise and strong, but against his new mother he can't make a single move to stop her.

Hyoka, a biological weapon, made from Enka's flesh, he is one of the most powerful fighting weapons in the world, but since he came to miderazaki family he calmed down and become a "normal person".

Gekka, a pink jellyfish that pass most the time eating sushi, but her true identity is of a God from another world that came to earth to run form her own feelings.

Chika, she, like Ouka, isn't a possible reincarnation of Enka, she is a blood sister of Yuka, and come to this family after Himemiya was destroyed, she likes Ginka, but hates his feminine actions, and have a sadist personality.

This peculiar family is always tormented by Enka's Shadow, but despite of that they try to live a normal life, except when Kyouka have some bright idea and makes problems.

Later in the show appears Raichou that is testing the bonds of the family giving them the mission of saving the world.

The end wasn't conclusive, mainly because the light novels aren't finished yet, and i prefer that way, having a anime final could destroy all the magic of the show.

From the first episode this turned out to be one of my favorite series, i liked the fast passing kyouka and loved the background stories of everyone. The opening was magnificent, and having a different ending for every family member was a nice touch.

'Cause all that i give Kyouran Kazoku Nikki a solid 10 out 10, and now i'm waiting for a sequel.

Clan Clang

So, after half of a year of Macross Frontier and calling Klan Klan to that micronized loli we now know how her name is spelled Clan Clang, as show in the next image:

2008 Fall Anime

After two weeks after started it is time for my opinions on this new anime season. As this list is just the anime that catched my eye, so i will separate the twelve of my list in three categories (Watch 'till end WTE, Watch Some More Episodes WSM and No More Please NMP).
Without more delay:


Kuro Shitsuji

A young master, a skillful butler (and no it is not the sequel of Hayate) in a dark theme, i only watched the first episode and liked it immediately, i liked the mysterious aura that this show gives, and how awesome was the game part with all the previsions that came true in the end;
because i only watched one episode e can't give WTE, but if continues this way i don't want to miss any episode.


ef - Tales of Melodies

I can't say much about this, is the sequel of Tales of Memories, but it don't have almost any of the protagonists from last season, new characters and new stories.
I loved the first season, so this one is a WTE without a doubt;



Chaos: Head

This has a Higurashi aura, based on a game this is a story of an young boy that is almost a rejected from society, that have strong delusions, mixing always reality with fiction, until now this haven't bothered him much, but now he can't differentiate if what the killer girl was reality or fiction. For now it is WSM, as the first episode didn't give much information and lost many time with some ero-game like scenario.


Tales of Abyss

A young boy is imprisoned in his own home by his folks 'till the come of age, but a strange girl that attacked his sensei when confronted with him created a strange reaction and send the two tho the another kingdom, from here on the two of them try to get home, encountering new friends and foes.
Vulgar story, vulgar characters so i don't now if i can watch this one much time more, WSM tending to NMP.



Yozakura Quartet

The first episode wasn't good enough for me to wanting to see all of this, but also wasn't bad enough to make me drop. WSM



To Aru Majutsu no Index

With a magic canceling right arm and living in a world full of espers, Toma meets a girl that have in her memory 103.000 forbidden books of magic and now he is involved in a new strange reality that magic is a true.
Nothing new, but i kinda liked the characters so for peace of mind WSM.


Hyakko

First episode, only one thing to say, boring. WSM -> NMP


Clannad - After Story

Sequel, Kyoani, Key.
Don't have anything more to say :P. WTE

Kannagi

Boy get piece of a sacred tree, boy sculpts a girl like statue, girl comes to life from that; don't like the story, don't like the characters, don't like the design, NMP


Toradora

This was probably the show that i was more anticipating for this season, as i have a weak spot for Tsundere's (Kagami and Kyou come to my mind), i loved the design.
Only one thing that freaks me out in this, that damn parrot gives me the chills. WTE


Rosario + Vampire Capu 2

Only watching with hope that gets better, WSM.


Kemeko Deluxe!

Men, this was the worst show in this list, that damn Kemeko will give me nightmares, i will only watch one more episode for peace of mind and if can't change my mind i will drop it.

Code Geass 25 - END - Spoilers

So Lulu geassed Nunally and make her give the Fleia detonator, ending all threat against him. I lolled at the fight between Orange and Anya, as Orange makes a Gurren Lagann move and mech inside mech goes to Anya and Ungeassed her or so it seems.
And the battle between Suzaku and Kallen ends with the tragic defeat and death of the Knight of Zero.


No really, it was again one of the brilliant plans of the 99th Emperor of the Holy Brittania Empire, to end the life of Kururugi Suzaku and bring from the dead the Hero Zero (yes i know, i also hate me for make this horrible pun) and make him "save" the world from his evil hands.
So before the "terrorists" execution Zero appears and with his dodging bullets speed and using Orange as a step he kills our beloved king Lelouch, putting an end to his tirany.


So Lulu sacrificed himself, making the world hate towards him a taking it to the otherworld, as he said is easier hate a person than a machine (Democles).
Now that evil was destroyed everyone can go back to their happy lives, Ougi and Villetta married, Kallen is living with her mother, and Orange and Anya now are farmers and orange pickers, lol Sunrise how much more can you troll us?



In the end we see C.C. is riding on a hay cart noting hat the power of the kings known as Geass makes people lonely but, addressing to Lelouch, she says that was not quite true.

So it ends and with this little final "monologue" we can't have the death of Lulu for sure, i would like to see Lelouch one more time, i can not accept his death, yes i'm in denial.

After 50 episodes this series turned into one of my favorites and i'm just hopping for a OVA where we can see the "some years latter" and Lelouch, but only time will say.

Macross Frontier 25 - END

Oh Alto, why didn't you die? It would be much better without such indecisive gay guy, it stars looking like Code Geass.


You have been OWNED Leon, thats what you get for dumping a girl (and killing her father), and you don't need a pineapple salad or pie.



Yeah the mind control is broken and Ranka returns to her senses and with the help of Alto and a little bit of Deus Ex Machina Sheryl overcomes her illness and the virus go from her brain to the womb turning into a fold wave master creator like Ranka, and with their combined powers they get Vajra into their side to attack and destroy Grace and finnaly getting a new place to live altogeher with their new best buddies, the Vajra.


Despite the unconclusive ending, Alto didn't choose one of the two girls, and having so much DEM to bring an happy ending, i still liked the pace of this episode and how many songs were sung, but the best part was the inclusion of parts from the opening into the episode itself, i know sometimes there are some sort of clues in the openings about what is going to happen, but this was the first time that i saw something like that.

Now is waiting for the movie ando for more Ranka.

Code Geass 14

Holy Shit, it's Shirase now we just need some provocative images (call it ecchi, hentai or what you want) with an underage loli, Oh fuck, run Nunnally, run.

Jokes aside, that part was fucking awesome, how they inserted a NGE reference, that wasn't anti-fleia, it was the Spear of Longinus, we also have an emo protagonist, the difference is that Lulu as the guts to do something.



Hum, where i have seen this scene before? Oh wait, season 1 with Mao, but it is still epic, how Lulu tricked Schneizel whit some pre-programed video and get behind him (someone stop the yaoi fangirls) and instead of killing him, geassed him into submission and make him his sex slave and go to a threesome with Suzaku making Schneizel into another of his pets, making him also kill Diethard.


What the hell!?!?!? From where did she and Guilford come from? They didn't die? I just want to know how someone can survive an explosion of Fleia or from being shot from behind, where all my meaningless killing that Sunrise habituated me? Maybe in the end we will find out that Euphy an Shirley didn't die...


And for last, at the very ending we see Nunnally opening her eyes and asking Lulu if he will use Geass on her.

Oh Sunrise where are you going, at this point i can only ask for more trainwreck in the last episode, but please just don't make a "happy" final, there's no way Lulu and Nunnally can live happy forever, and i hope that they don't do a season 1 dejá vu and put everithing on hold till a new season my heart can't take anymore of this.

Just one more thing what the hell happened to C.C., i hope they give her more air time next episode and i hope she and Lulu don't get cockblocked again by Kallen.

Where the hell is Takemoto Versus Morita

Just finished Honey and Clover (JDrama) and although it wasn't near good as the anime i kinda enjoyed watching.

What i didn't like was that they left some of the most enjoyable things in the anime, like the background story of Morita and his Oscar, Mayama and Rika in Spain, the boat trip to the amusement park.

But the thing i missed the most was the fight between Morita and Takemoto, it was one of my favorite scenes in the anime, where these two confronted their feeling and conveied them into their fists, "The best way to know a man is to fight against him".

No More Ideas?????

How many times this scene has happened? Oh ups the board was falling so i throw myself to protect you instead of pulling... and of course Nogizaka JUST have to appear at the site at the exact moment not even hearing the sound of the falling board.

Men, i'm feed up with this overused idea and the magnificent timing so they can spice up a little the relation of the two protagonists, as if it were necessary.

Everyone knows that YuutoXNogizaka is going to happen, so why bother?

I'm just thankful that there are only 3 more episodes to end, or else this serie would also go to my dropped pile.

Documentário sobre Anime Fansubs

Apesar de concordar com algumas das coisas ditas, existem muitos fansubbers que levam este trabalho a sério, a questão de a utilização de cores é a que mais discordo, principalmente na parte de várias personagens estarem a falar ao mesmo tempo, o que permite uma maior compreensão, um bom exemplo disso é a Static-Subs/Eclipse.

Outro dos pontos que não concordo são as notas sobre determinado termo, algo que nós ocidentais não temos conhecimento imediato, mas mesmo assim é necessário alguma contenção, a Shinsen-Subs é um bom exemplo, que coloca no início e no fim dos episódios notas para quem queira ler.

O que concordo mais é quando aparecem os nomes dos ataques com animações todas manhosas que às vezes chegam a ser mais intensas que a cenas na qual aparecem.

Quanto ao chatearem pela utilização de honoríficos, essa parte eu não tenho razões de queixas, devido ao já possuir algum conhecimento da cultura japonesa a utilização desses honoríficos facilita a compreensão de algumas relações entre personagens.

Todos os Fansubbers são iguais...
